We have listed upcoming and completed Presbyterian trips that strive to balance several elements of faithful pilgrimage. You might find these useful if you're interested in joining one or want to be inspired by what other Presbyterians are doing. 

Upcoming trips:

Religious Diversity in Israel Palestine - June 12 to 25, 2012 - Join experienced trip leaders Dr. Pauline Coffman and Dr. Paul Parker to learn about "Religious Diverstiy in Israel and Palestine"  Participants in Religious Diversity in Israel and Palestine will explore the six religions of Israel and Palestine in their cultural richness and political reality. This is a listening tour: we will take notice of devotees’ concerns, observe religious practices, discern group beliefs and values, visit many of their holy sites, and ponder the religious experiences of the peoples of Israel and Palestine. click here for brochure.

Keep Hope Alive - October 12-27, 2012: Holy Land Olive Harvest Trip,  Feb 2012.  The Rev. Will McGarvey ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church in Pittsburg, CA, will lead this Keep Hope Alive trip. Experience Palestinian hospitality first hand and participate with over 100 internationals from 15 countries in picking olives in orchards threatened by illegal settlers, while also having the chance to see historical and Holy Sites. Jan 2-11, 2012: Orthodox Christmas in Bethlehem Led by IPMN members Polly and Dave Johnson - stay in Bethlehem and Nazareth and attend Orthodox Christmas services, visit historical/holy sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Hebron, and Nazareth and along the Mediterranean Coast - talk to Israeli and Palestinian peace and justice groups. more info here.

October 12-28, 2010. Keep Hope Alive: The Olive Tree Campaign. A joint effort of Bay Area Presbyterian Peacemakers and the YMCA of East Jerusalem and YWCA of Palestine.

November 2-11, 2009. Bethlehem. Sponsored by the Presbytery of the Ohio Valley in partnership with the International Center of Bethlehem.Congressional Accompaniment Project. A Presbyterian-initiatied educational travel program.

November 2-15, 2009. Sarasota Peace Witness. First Presbyterian Church of Sarasota.

November 2-20, 2009. Middle East Traveling Seminar. Sponsored by the Middle East Task Force of the Chicago Presbytery.

August 8-18, 2009. Congressional Accompaniment Project. A Presbyterian-initiated travel program.

March 20-31, 2009. Joining hands for Justice, a Partnership Initiative of Presbyterian Answer to Hunger, Presbytery of Greater Atlanta.
